MISSIONS:
ABSquad Members Mission Pack v13.00 (x86). This is a new set of
missions originally designed exclusively for members of ABSquad. I had
not intended on releasing these missions to the general public, but I
have received TONS of emails inquiring about them, and asking when I
would release them. These missions are distinguished by the "Ultra" in
the name of the missions (Example: AB Ultra: We Were Soldiers). These
missions are MUCH TOUGHER than the standard missions found on the site,
with many more enemy AI's, armor - even booby traps and snipers located
in the trees! The AB: Sniper Ultra missions pit you against the US
Army's Special Forces snipers, considered one of the most elite sniper
groups in the world. These missions are by far THE TOUGEST you will play
in Ghost Recon, some of which you can not complete by yourself (have
lots of friends involved and bring plenty of body bags!). These missions
were designed specifically for multi-player Co-Op play (do not attempt
to play these missions as "Single Player" missions, as they can cause
some maps to crash, as they were set up specifically for multiplayer
play)

The BIGGEST difference that
you will find between this Web site and others that offer downloads for
the various flight simulations is that whenever possible I have
attempted to create an "installation" program for the downloads...No
more having to create folders, and then copying and/or moving files. The
installation program does all of this for you...AUTOMATICALLY. So, where
possible, all you have to do is to simply double-click on the

Use WinRAR to extract the contents of the WinRAR file,
"gr_absquads_desert_siege_realism_pack_v9_00_x86.exe", to a
temporary directory. This is the actual executable file.
3. Once
extracted, double-click on the
"gr_absquads_desert_siege_realism_pack_v9_00_x86.exe" file to
install the Ultimate Realism Pack.

ABSquad's Ultimate Realism Pack Update v9.00 (x86) (24.4MB).
This will update all previous versions of ABSquad's Ultimate Realism
Pack (x86) to v9.00, and adds the Soviet AB-Saiga 12gauge shotgun to
the weapons listing.
NOTE: Please read the following in order to assure a clean installation
of ABSquad's Desert Siege Realism Pack.
This has to be done only ONCE:
The
self-install program I use is set up not to overwrite "read only" files
on your computer. This is done to avoid accidentally overwriting
critical system files, which are typically set as "read only". The
problem is that Ghost Recon by default sets a lot of its files as "read
only" - files that really do not need to be set up like that (Example:
texture files, mission files, etc.). This will cause the Realism Pack to
fail to install if you do not remove the "read only" status from the
Ghost Recon folder structure. In order to do this, please follow these
instructions BEFORE attempting to install the Realism Pack. Again, this
only has to be done ONCE:
WINDOWS XP/VISTA/7 (all versions):

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to
the following directory: C:\Program Files\Red Storm
Entertainment\Ghost Recon.

In the LEFT window pane, click on the
"Ghost Recon" sub-folder once to "highlight" the folder name.

Move the mouse over the "Ghost Recon"
folder and click the RIGHT mouse button. Your screen should look
similar to the image below:

Choose "Properties..." from the options
listed. Another window will open.

Near the bottom of the window, you will
see an "Attributes:" section.

grayed out) next to the "Read-only" option. Your screen should look

time indicated may be extreme (10 minutes or more), but it will only
