Saturday, December 5th, 2009:

GERMAN AIRCRAFT (64-bit):

CFS2 Focke-Wulf AB-Fw 190A-4 "Hannes" (x86). Considered Germany's "other iron in the fire" as far as the Luftwaffe was concerned. At the time, the Bf 109 was the primary German fighter, and had proven itself quite capable, until the Battle of Britain. Virtually un-catchable with sufficient altitude, the 190A-4 can strike and leave almost at will, with the Spitfire Mk V's it fought left in the dust behind it. New CFS2-syle look and textures, panel and gauges and new sound files!

CFS2 Messerschmitt AB-Bf 109E-7 (x86). Representation of the aircraft flown by Helmut Wick, November 1939. Wick scored 56 victories in this particular aircraft in only one year before being shot down by a Supermarine Spitfire over the English Channel in November, 1940, as he was leading the Richthofen Geshwader.

CFS2 Messerschmitt AB-Bf 109G-10AS (x86). Considered the fastest (450 mph) of the Bf 109's to be produced. The increase in engine power allowed this aircraft to be the first to able to equal the performance of the British Spitfires and Hurricanes in a turn and dive.

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009:

AMERICAN AIRCRAFT (64-bit):

CFS2 Grumman AB-F-6F5 Hellcat (x86). Simple, rugged, and deadly, yet easy to fly, the Hellcat was another product of the so-called Grumman Iron Works. It was a larger, heavier, faster, and more powerful refinement of Grumman's F4F Wildcat, and the first American fighter to exceed the performance of the Mitsubishi Zero. Its immense 18-cylinder, 2,000 horsepower radial engine gave it the power to dictate the terms of engagement. Its speed, maneuverability, high-altitude capability, and typical Grumman toughness made it a winner against all comers. Features new panel, sound files, updated .air file and textures. NOTE: You MUST install the new version of the CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack (x86) in order to be able to use the new "enhanced" weapons, as it is not included with the aircraft in an attempt to keep the file size down. This version is for 64-bit operating systems.

BRITISH AIRCRAFT (64-bit):

CFS2 Supermarine AB-Spiteful F Mk XIV (x86). Conceived as the successor to the Spitfire, the Spiteful F Mk XIV was perhaps the ultimate development of the Spitfire design. Nicknamed "The 500mph Spitfire",  it used a new laminar-flow wing matched to a Spitfire Mk XIV fuselage with further refinements. First production was flown on April 2, 1945, but the invent of the jet age ended the need for the Spiteful. Only 19 were ever built and of these only 16 were flown and saw combat. Improved flight dynamics, new sound files and damage profile. NOTE: You MUST install the new version of the CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack (x86) in order to be able to use the new "enhanced" weapons, as it is not included with the aircraft in an attempt to keep the file size down. This version is for 64-bit operating systems.

Saturday, November 21st, 2009:

AMERICAN AIRCRAFT (64-bit):

CFS2 North American AB-P-51H Mustang (x86) (7.95MB). The ultimate version of the Mustang was the P-51H, which was the fastest Mustang variant to see service and one of the fastest (if not the fastest) piston-engine fighters to enter production during the World War II. It was also significantly lighter than the original P-51D. The most downloaded aircraft from this site. New sound files taken from an actual P-51H at an air show in San Diego, CA, new panel with easier to read gauges and water-methanol injection. By: AB_Lt_Cmd_Riker. NOTE: You MUST install the new version of the CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack (x86) in order to be able to use the new "enhanced" weapons, as it is not included with the aircraft in an attempt to keep the file size down. This version is for 64-bit operating systems.

UTILITIES (64-bit):

CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack (x86) (6.86MB). Ever been flying on the Zone and got a message from CFS2 telling you that it couldn't find a particular weapons model (typically German)? Well, this download is for you! Includes the following weapons and/or weapon packs: the RAF Pilot add-on, German, Japanese, Modern Weapons, Spitfire+ and Weapons+ Weapons packs!!! I have even added all of them to the mdl_names text file (this file is what is used to display the names of the various weapons that are available). This install does NOT add them to your aircraft, simply makes them "available" to add to your planes. To use the weapons, simply look at the various documentation for each of the weapons and/or weapon packs (a shortcut called "Ultimate Weapon Pack" will be created). This version adds the Aerial Depth Charge to the weapons pack. Now includes new pilot figures: one pointing forward, one pointing to the rear, one pointing to the left and one pointing to the right. By: Various. Install by: AB_Lt_Cmd_Riker. NOTE: The CFS2 Ultimate Weapons Pack only needs to be installed once for the ABSquad aircraft. You do not have to install it each time you install a new aircraft. Once it is installed, it is available for all aircraft. You would only need to install it again if you completely uninstall CFS2 and then re-install it. This version is for 64-bit operating systems.

NOTE: This Web site is designed to be viewed in Microsoft's© Internet Explorer or Netscape© Navigator.

The BIGGEST difference that you will find between this Web site and others that offer downloads for the various flight simulations is that whenever possible I have attempted to create an "installation" program for the downloads...No more having to create folders, and then copying and/or moving files. The installation program does all of this for you AUTOMATICALLY. So, where possible, all you have to do is to simply double-click on the installation program and enjoy! I strongly encourage you to visit the Installation page to see how this program works before downloading any of the wonderful add-ons from this site.

NOTE: Downloads from these pages are for Microsoft© Combat Flight Simulator 2 ONLY, and should not be used in CFS1.
