ABSquad American Aircraft:

Bell AB-P-39F Airacobra. The Bell P-39 Airacobra was one of the principal American fighter aircraft in service at the start of World War II. Although its mid-engine placement was innovative, the P-39 design was handicapped by the lack of an efficient turbo-supercharger, limiting it to low-altitude work. The P-39 was used with great success by the Soviet Air Force, who scored the highest number of individual kills attributed to any U.S. fighter type. The P-39F (Bell Model 15B) was the next production version of the Airacobra after the P-39D. It was almost identical to the P-39D, but had an Aeroproducts constant-speed propeller in place of the original Curtiss-Electric, because the Curtiss-Electric propellers could not be delivered in sufficient quantities. NOTE: If you downloaded this aircraft on 03/07/2010 and got the error message that the "visual model can not be displayed", please download and install this new version.

The BIGGEST difference that you will find between this Web site and others that offer downloads for the various flight simulations is that whenever possible I have attempted to create an "installation" program for the downloads...No more having to create folders, and then copying and/or moving files. The installation program does all of this for you AUTOMATICALLY. So, where possible, all you have to do is to simply double-click on the installation program and enjoy! I strongly encourage you to visit the Installation page to see how this program works before downloading any of the wonderful add-ons from this site.

NOTE: Downloads from these pages are for Microsoft© Combat Flight Simulator 2 ONLY, and should not be used in CFS1.
